CLASS HOURS

  • General Timings: 10.00am to 4.00pm. Buses will leave the campus at 4.10pm.
  • Students are not permitted to enter the campus after 9.50am and not allowed to leave thecollege before 4.10pm.
  • The working day is divided into two sessions. The forenoon session has 3 hours (10.00a.m. to 12.45 noon) and the afternoon session has 3 hours (01.20 p.m. to 04.00p.m.)
  • The first bell for the class is given ten minutes before the commencement of the forenoon / afternoon session and the second bell at the hour fixed for the commencement of the class. A bell is given at the end of each period. A long bell is given at the end of each session.
  • At the first bell before each session, students shell goes to their respective classes and take their seats.
  • Nostudentshould leave the campus between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. without written permission from the HOD and the Principal.

DRESS CODE

  • All the students in the campus should be neatly dressed on all days including during allexamination.
  • Wearsaree or churidar with dupatta neatly pinned in ‘V’ shape and ID card.
  • Wear lengthy tops for churidar below knee level.
  • Net dupatta, short tops, tops with net sleeves, legging (stretch pants) are strictly notallowed.

ATTENDANCE

  • Thestudents who have attended the classes for 68 days (75%) and above will be permitted to appear for the ensuing university examinations.
  • Thestudents who have attended the classes for 67 days and less, put 59 days (65%) and above will be permitted to apply for exemption in the prescribed form to the University along with fees Rs. 360/- with the specific remarks of the principal for condonation of attendance.
  • The students who have attended the classes for 58 days and less put 45 days (50%) and above cannot spear for university examinations for November 2023 and they can appear university providing sufficient reasons for their absence supported by proper documents on payment of Rs. 600/-.
  • The students who have put in 44 days attendance and less have to repeat the whole semester. The above decisions will be applicable to the U.G. and P.G. semester examinations.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  • Attendance shall be marked at the beginning of every period.
  • Astudent who is not in the class when the attendance is taken shall be marked as absent.
  • Astudentrequiring leave for the whole session or more must apply in writing to the Head of the Department a day in advance. The leave letter should be signed by the Parent/Guardian.
  • Astudent who applies for long leave on grounds of illness must produce a medical certificate will not automatically enable a student to get condonation for shortage of attendance.
  • If a student is absent continuously without a leave letter. Her name will be removed from the rolls of the college.

GOOD MANNERS AND BEHAVIOUR

  • Students attending classes, meetings or other gatherings within the college should be inthe prescribed formal dress and maintaining the silence.
  • When astudent meets a member of the staff for the first time in the day, she must greether.
  • Students should not make any mark on the walls; desks the classroom and corridor willbe disciplined.
  • Students are not allowed to standing in the corridor during the class hours.
  • Students are strictly not allowed to use any electronic gadgets like Cell Phone, I Pods, MP3 Players, Camera etc.

THE TUTORIAL SYSTEM

  • Eachstudent will be assigned as a ward to a member of the faculty counsellor.
  • Students must meet their respective counsellors outside regular class hours for personaladvice and guidance.
  • Attendance particulars or any other certificate shall be routed to the Principal through thecounsellor and Heads of the Department.
  • Counsellors will closely monitor the progress of students in studies, regularity inattendance and behavior in and out of the campus.
  • The Principal will take appropriate action, if any adverse remarks are received from thecounsellors against their wards.

LIBRARY RULES

  • Thelibrary will remain open from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days.
  • Perfect silence should be maintained in the library.
  • Astudent is eligible for 2 library books.
  • Students can keep the books for one week (7 days) at a time.
  • Afine of Rs.1/- will be charged per day per book for the late returning of books. A fineof Rs. 25/- will be charged for the replacement of a library card, if lost.
  • Reference books, magazines, journals, and dailies should not be taken out of the library.
  • StudentsorStaff who leave the college for any reason in the middle of the term should return the books before they leave the college and obtain a “No due Certificate” from the library.
  • Writing or underlining in a book or tampering the book in any manner is strictly prohibited.

EXAMINATIONS

  • Schedule of examinations to be held in the course of the academic year will be notified inthe departments.
  • It is obligatory on the part of the students as per the rules of the college to appear for theexamination.
  • There will be two internal tests and one model examination for each semester.
  • Internal Assessment marks will be given to the students purely on the basis of their attendance, performance in internal and model exams, participation in seminar and submission of assignment.

REVALUATION & ARREAR

  • The direct revaluation is admissible to the following disciplines of examinations
  • Conducted by the University All under graduate / Post graduate degree
  • Semester Candidates can apply for Direct Revaluation to the University within 7 days(one week) from the date of publication of results on official website.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS

  • The candidate apply for the Supplementary Examinations is permitted to appear for the subjects (only theory papers listed for sixth semester), provided the candidate has passed in all the subjects of previous semesters (up to fifth semester) including all practical.
  • Thecandidates those who absent with required attendance in the final Semester.
